How Waterjet Works • The Basic Process

1. Generate High Pressure
An ultrahigh-pressure pump generates a stream of water pressure rated up to 100,000 psi.
2. Convert Pressure Into Velocity
Accomplished via a tiny nozzle, creating a stream of water less than 0.01 mm thick which can cut soft materials.
3. Add Garnet
Garnet is pulled into the supersonic Jetstream, increasing cutting power by 1,000x.
